Adoption Application

Thank you for your interest in adopting with Kiowa's House Husky Rescue! Welcoming a husky into your home is a beautiful, rewarding commitment. By applying, you agree to provide for your new dog's physical, financial, and emotional needs, and to be patient through any natural adjustment periods as they settle in.

What is your current housing status?
If renting, do you have permission from your landlord to house the dog you are seeking to adopt?
What type of home do you live in?
Do you have any other pets at home?
Are all of your pets spayed/neutered?
Are all of your pets vaccinated?
Have you owned a Husky, Malamute, or other high-energy/northern breed before?
Are you financially prepared to provide ongoing veterinary care, including annual wellness exams, vaccinations, and ongoing preventatives (heartworm, flea, tick)?
Do you authorize Kiowa’s House to contact your veterinarian to verify your pets' veterinary history?
Do you consent to a basic home check (virtual or in-person)?
Is everyone in the household fully on board with adopting?
If you can no longer keep the adopted dog, do you agree to contact Kiowa’s House rather than surrendering, selling, giving away, or rehoming the dog without contacting the rescue?
